How does StyleSeat work? ›

With StyleSeat, you can set up a no-show late cancellation policy and clients will be required to enter a credit card when they book. You choose how strict your policy is and when clients don't show up, you get paid for your time. You can even block these clients from booking with you again! Easily accept credit cards.

Booking and Other Fees

StyleSeat charges Clients a booking fee for each appointment booked in order to cover the operational costs of providing a smooth booking experience. We charge a booking fee whether the appointment is booked by you or by the applicable Professional.

Using the link sent to you after your appointment, you can set the tip amount to $0 or decline to tip on StyleSeat. If you don't specify the tip amount or decline it from the link, your default tip setup in your account will be applied. Default tips set to 0% will never charge a tip!

Automatic Checkout: card on file is charged 1-hour after the appointment. This is the default setting for professionals on the $0 monthly Basic Plan, all appointments must checkout through the app. Card on file will be charged 1-hour after the appointment.

StyleSeat requires a Social Security number for identity verification purposes and a US address for your place of business. International users, depending on their location, may be able to use StyleSeat for other features (appointment booking and scheduling etc.), but not for processing payments.

How Does StyleSeat Deposits Work? Setting up StyleSeat Deposits is simple! First, choose between a flat fee or a percentage-based deposit for your services. Activate your No-Show and Late-Cancellation policy to maximize your time and revenue protection.
